Think Tank Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.
  • Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in issue tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing across projects.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide timely feedback.
  • Analyze testing results and provide comprehensive reports on product quality and readiness.
  • Contribute to improving the QA process by identifying inefficiencies and proposing enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices across all deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience with manual testing techniques and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have

  • Experience testing web and mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating testing frameworks.
  • Basic programming knowledge for creating automated test scripts.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
  • A passion for learning new tools, technologies, and best practices in QA.
